I recently visited The Gallery by Havells. It was interesting to get a closer look at the wide range of products displayed in a home environment. Every room featured Havells products from one of the 30 categories. Though I was previously familiar with Havells kitchen appliances, seeing all of them in one place made me realize how there is just about every product to make cooking a delight. Totally blew my mind!
Havells Gallery
For me, the concept of the Gallery in itself was quite intriguing. I had never seen such a unique showcase of products before. Mr. Amit Tiwari ( Vice president, Marketing Communications) told us about the inspiration for this concept and it is a part of Havells unique approach to consumer outreach.
The Gallery is inspired by the idea of providing a realistic experience of the Havells range in a home environment. It is a one of its kind experiential centres in the industry. The Gallery helps consumers make an informed and smart decision because they can envision what it would be like to have the products at home.
Kitchen Appliances by Havells
As you walk into a fully-functional kitchen displayed in the Havells Gallery, it is amazing to see how Havells seamlessly brings together functionality and aesthetics. The superior products are not only reliable but also a delight to look at.
I have used a number of them for years. I have previously talked about the food processor as well as the Havells water purifier.
Now that I am sharing the experience about my visit to The Gallery, this article will be incomplete if I do not share my real experience about Havells products I use on a day to day basis in my home kitchen.
Water Purifier
After a visit to the Havells CRI lab, I got to know of the technology behind water purifiers. That’s when I bought the under sink model of Havells water purifier. I have quite a spacious kitchen and I like my wall space free so I went with under sink model which has a large tank capacity steel tank for water storage. The water remains safe for drinking even after days.
When it comes to after-sales service, it’s one of the best I have experienced till now. Their service staff visits on biannually without even a call and they get the service done. Havells Food Processor
Another product I use on a daily basis is the food processor by Havells. Ever since I have started using it, I think it has helped make food prep so much easier. I have been using it for the past 3 years and I can’t imagine making a meal without it. You can see the processor in action here:
Havells Air Fryer
Recently I made another addition to my kitchen: the Havells Air Fryer. I am just in love with it! Though my family loves crispy food, I like to make dishes healthier and avoid deep frying. That’s why I have switched to the air fryer.
After my visit to The Gallery and seeing it in action, I picked up the Havells Air Fryer. The beautiful design won my heart! I can fry, bake toast and grill with this one appliance and crispy snacks are ready without any oil or with up to 85% lesser oil. A win-win situation for all of us at the dinner table 🙂
If you follow me on Instagram, you must have seen it in action in a couple of videos as well. It was indeed great to know of the possibilities with each of the appliances that help make cooking such a joyous task.
Now I have my eyes set on this wonderful mixer grinder and blender. This is truly in a class of its own with a high powered motor, a sturdy base, and a digital display for every food preparation need. Talking about food preparation, I already use Havells food processor 🙂 So from food preparation to baking, there is an appliance for every task in the kitchen.
The Gallery also had a breakfast nook with a toaster, sandwich toaster, and grill toaster for those who love sandwiches and wraps. The juicer has a compact system with all parts nestled in one unit. It is perfect if you like aesthetics along with great functionality.
Smart Appliances
I am a gadget freak and passionate about adopting new technology. Havells had so much to offer on this front! The smart kitchen appliances can be controlled through Alexa or Google Home through a smart switch.
Additionally, Havells has come out with a smart plug system through which you can transform any device into a smart device.
The prospect of coming home to the aroma of brewing coffee is a very enticing one. With smart appliances, it’s possible to turn this prospect into a reality.
You can now start your Havells kitchen appliances through Alexa or Google Home devices or simply from an app on your phone. At the Gallery, the coffee maker, convection oven and other appliances were displayed just like you would find them in a real kitchen.
The helpful Havells team at The Gallery explained each and every query very well. It was so heartening to know that 95% of the stuff is manufactured in house in India itself. A very
small percentage of component is imported. So it is really great to see “Make in India”
actually being implemented with the availability of such great products.
Home Automation by Havells
Another thing I am passionate about is smart homes. It was a delight to see a complete range of solutions for home automation to control smart lightings, fans and ACs. And of course, all of us know that beautiful switches are a key part of home decor and Havells had plenty of options to suit every need.
The complete range of Havells bathroom products was displayed to look like an actual bathroom. From geysers to electricals to a great range of personal grooming products for men and women, everything was displayed in a very realistic environment in The Gallery.
Havells Fans
Another important category range for a decor enthusiast like me is the “fifth wall” or the ceiling. This can have quite an impact on the overall look of a roof but we often don’t pay enough attention to it.
To decorate this wall, Havells has beautiful designer fans. Apart from appliances, Havells has a plethora of essential electrical products such as switchboards and MCBs under one roof.
Lloyd Gallery
As you might know, Lloyd is a prominent brand under the Havells umbrella. It is well- known for its range of cooling solutions.
I also loved the TVs, especially the new range of smart TV in various sizes and specifications. I watched a short movie clip in the home theatre they have created for the visitors of the gallery. It was really something else.
There were several washing machines on display to serve every consumer need. The Lloyd Gallery also had on display a great range of washing machines. From semi automatic to fully automatic, there was something for everyone. Each product was thoughtfully placed to provide a realistic experience to consumers.
It was really a wonderful trip to the Havells Gallery where I got to see eco-friendly smart products that are durable and look absolutely delightful. It was a great experience exploring all these wonderful products under one roof.
