Milk is a rich source of calcium, an essential mineral to keep bones and teeth stronger. Growing kids need the calcium for their good bone development. Adults require calcium to keep their bone stronger because as we grow our bone density tends to decrease and calcium helps to prevent osteoporosis a common condition as we grow old. Milk contains a good amount of proteins, which is helpful for repair and rebuilding of muscles.
Milk helps in weight loss. According to various studies, women who drink low-fat milk regularly felt less hungry than those who did not, so it can be great snack along with a piece of fruit or just add small glass to your breakfast or even smoothies.
