    My quick aloo sabzi recipes that will spice up any meal as a side dish or as a solo main for breakfast lunch or dinner. Most of these potato recipes are super quick, easy to put together and perfect for beginners, bachelors or expert cook. That makes them perfect lockdown recipes for everyone. 

    Potatoes have a great shelf life and can be stored for longer period of time. These do not spoil easily and most of the kitchens we stock them in good quantity. That makes it an easy ingredient to stock and cook with during current coronavirus lockdown around the world. 

    There are so many recipes and ways to cook potatoes. Even if your pantry is filled solely with the spuds, you can still make a variety of potato recipes for any meals. 

    So I am sharing here my favourite ways to cook popular sukhe aloo sabzi recipes. With these easy to cook, simple and quick potato recipes by your side, I am sure a tasty meal is always ensured. Whether you are a bachelor or a beginner in cooking these simple variations potato sabzi recipes are perfect for everyone.

    Aloo Shimla Mirch Sabzi

    Aloo shimla mirch ki sukhi sabzi or Potato Capsicum. This punjabi sukhi aloo shimla mirch is one of most popular potato dish.

    Aloo Shimla mirch sabzi is a simple North Indian sabzi. This recipe of making Aloo Shimla mirch is Punjabi style in which it is cooked with onion and tomato masala. Some dishes are super simple but still taste absolutely fantastic. Aloo Shimla mirch Sabzi is among one of these. There is few variation of this spicy dry curry, Some cook aloo shimla mirch without Onion and garlic with just a few spices which is dry Aloo Shimla mirch.

    The addictive potato sabji Aloo Katli Masala is a perfect vegetarian side-dish or even as an appetizer. Thick slices of potatoes pan-fried with just a handful of aromatic spices, this potato recipe is mouth-watering delicious. From chopping board to your plate this will take 20 minutes to cook.

    One of the most basic and most loved Aloo sabzi recipes, aloo jeera is easy to cook recipe. You can serve them as a side with plain paratha or as a side with any dal or curry. This simple and easy potato dish is great to jazz up any simple meal.

    South Indian Potato Fry

    One of the easiest recipes of the list, Chettinad Fry Potato is a spicy, flavorful and as usual super quick to cook. 

    Chunks of potatoes cooked Cooked with homemade Chettinad masala, this South Indian style potato fry makes for an ultimate side dish to serve with any curry. We particularly like to serve it as a side with egg curry.

    Chatpate Masala Aloo is budget-friendly easy sabzi to cook with potatoes. Our favourite Potato recipe, Boiled potatoes are cooked in aromatic spices. The aloo pieces slathered in crunchy and spicy onion mix is truly a soul-satisfying dish.

    Chutney Wale Aloo

    Roasted Potatoes tastes amazing this Chutney Wale Aloo has to be one of the most flavourful roasted potato Recipe. Crispy pan-fried potatoes in oodles of tangy green chutney, this is one potato recipe that every -potato lover should make. 

    Nepali Aloo Ka Achar

    While this is not an Indian recipe and it has name achaar attached to it still it had to be in this list.

    If you have just potatoes and few basic spices in your pantry make this Nepali Aloo sabzi known as  Aloo Ko Achar. The potato recipe is often served as a side dish or as an instant pickle. Serve it as a side dish with paratha or an omelette its DELICIOUS any which way.

    Til Wale Masala Aloo

    Til Wale Aloo is a Punjabi style Aloo sabzi cooked with boiled potatoes. In this recipe, I cook Potatoes with a generous amount of Spices to coat them well. It's a variation of jeere wale aloo masala but a lot spicier and made with boiled potatoes and a few more ingredients. 

    Masala Aloo recipe is a spicy potato recipe with a generous amount of masala and makes a perfect side dish for a dal or gravy dish. One of most tasty and easy potato dish for any Indian meal.
