Agua de Jamaica – Iced Hibiscus Tea
dried hibiscus flowers or 10-12 fresh hibiscus flowers
Sweetener of your choice
Heat up the water to a boil.
Switch off the heat, add in hibiscus flower (remove the stamens first), Assam tea bag cover and allow the flower to steep for 20-30 minutes. Strain and add honey or your preferred sweetener.
Add ice cubes and some lemon juice as per your taste.
Top it with some fresh mint leaves and serve chilled.
