For jal-jeera powder
Black Pepper corns
For 6 glasses you need
mint leaves boondi
Few and dry for garnish
Jal jeera powder
Dry roast cumin seeds, black cardamoms and cloves till they are mildly fragrant i.e. about 1-2minutes.
When spices are cool, grind all of them together with black salt and store in an airtight container to use it later. This powder stores well at least for 6 months.
To serve it
Muddle cilantro and mint leaves in a muddler.
Fill your glass up to ¼ with crushed ice , pour ½ tbsp of lemon juice over it add about ½ tsp of cilantro and mint crush over it and a tsp of jal jeera powder .
Top it up with either water or sparkling water/club soda and garnish with a few spearmint leaves.
