Jaljeera Recipe
Jaljeera is a refreshing and cooling drink from India which has digestive properties as well. So cool down in hot summers with this refreshing Jaljeera fizz.

For jal-jeera powder
For 6 glasses you need
  1. Jal jeera powder
  2. Dry roast cumin seeds, black cardamoms and cloves till they are mildly fragrant i.e. about 1-2minutes.
  3. When spices are cool, grind all of them together with black salt and store in an airtight container to use it later. This powder stores well at least for 6 months.
To serve it
  1. Muddle cilantro and mint leaves in a muddler.
  2. Fill your glass up to ¼ with crushed ice , pour ½ tbsp of lemon juice over it add about ½ tsp of cilantro and mint crush over it and a tsp of jal jeera powder .
  3. Top it up with either water or sparkling water/club soda and garnish with a few spearmint leaves.
