Vegetable Pasta in White Sauce Recipe | White Sauce Pasta Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

  • 200 g pasta
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon Maida/ white flour
  • 200 ml milk
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 100 g broccoli
  • 4-5 Kale leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili flakes
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Cook pasta as per instructions on the packet. or watch the video for the instructions.
  • Heat up 1 tablespoon butter in the pan.
  • Add 1 tablespoon maida to the pan and cook it on slow heat for 5-6 minutes to make the roux.
  • Cook it on slow heat so the rawness of flour is gone.
  • Add small amount of milk at a time and keep the sauce stirring till all milk is used up and the sauce starts to thicken up. Switch off the flame and keep the suace aside.

  • Now heat up a tablespoon of olive oil in the pan and saute broccoli florets and kale or spinach whatever you are using. Saute till veggies are soft.
  • Add cooked pasta and white sauce you prepared earlier. Follow that up with salt, red chilli flakes and mixed herbs.
  • Add grated cheese, mix everything well and serve it hot.
