Punjabi Samosa with samosa patti Pastry Sheet

Samosa is the best Indian snack. How to make samosa with samosa Patti or samosa sheet, and Aloo stuffing for punjabi samosa.

Ingredients

  • 300 g Potatoes boiled
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped ginger
  • 1 green chillies Chopped
  • 2 tablespoon coriander seed powder
  • 2 tablespoon masala / amchoor mango powder panipuri powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • to taste salt
  • 3 - 4 tablespoon coriander Chopped
  • 1 cup Peas frozen/ blanched
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 8 samosa sheet

Instructions

Punjabi Samosa Aloo Filling

  • To make samosa filling start by heating oil in the pan.
  • Add cumin seeds, chopped ginger, green chilli and coriender. Stir fry for a minute and add a tablespoon of water if it starts to burn.
  • Now add coriander powder and panipuri masala to the pan, stir to mix it.
  • Season it with salt and red chilli and add boiled potatoes. Mix it well and keep this filling aside to cool.
  • When filling is cold, place 1 big spoon of aloo filling on to a samosa sheet.
  • Fold the samosa sheets as shown in the samosa folding video and prepare all the samosa likewise.

Frying Samosa in Oil

  • Heat Oil for deep frying in the pan and allow it to come to smoke point.
  • Lower the heat and after 2 minutes drop prepared samosa in hot oil. On low heat deep fry samosa till golden brown.

Notes

Now there are two methods from here one is deep frying the samosa and second is air fry in the microwave. I have shown both methods in video.
Notes
If you don't have slim fry function mode in your microwave you can use traditional air fryer ( I don't use one because my microwave has all these functions and I unnecessarily don't want to clutter my previous counter space)
I mostly believe in keeping one gadget with multifunctions , it may come little expensive but if you put together the amount you pay for many different gadgets it is still much less and the you have less cluttered counter :)
