  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup hot water
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 ¼ teaspoons salt
  • 1 packet active dry yeast


  • To make the dough: In the stand mixer bowl, combine all-purpose flour, sugar, and salt and stir with a spatula.
  • Now add rest of the ingredients and place the splash cover.
  • Set the mixer to program 1 and press the start button. Run the program until end which will take approximately 10 minutes.
  • Now cover the mixing bowl with a damp kitchen bowl and allow it to rise for 1.30 hrs.
  • After that slightly punch the dough and divide the dough between two greased loaf tins.
  • Place these tins in a warm place to rise again till it reaches almost ½ inch above the rim of the baking tin.
  • Bake in oven at 200C for 25-30minutes’
  • To test take it out and tap the tin on the bottom, it should sound hollow. Allow it to cool before cutting into slices of your desired thickness.
