Apple Chutney Recipe Indian Style | Seb ki Chutney

  • 450 g Apple
  • 1 tablespoon chopped ginger Finely
  • ¼ teaspoon Sea Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Chili powder Red
  • 2 pinches cinnamon Ground generous
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice


  • Chop the Apples you can peel them too, but I like the texture so I let the skin on .
  • Coat the apple with lemon juice, this preserves the whiteness of apple.
  • In a sauce pan put in the apple pieces, the salt and sugar, red chili powder, ginger and ¼ cup water. Cook for about ten to fifteen minutes on low heat until the apples are soft.
  • When apples are translucent and mushy remove from heat and store in fridge this keeps well over a month if refrigerated.
