Dr. Oz Weight Loss Drink (Grapefruit, ACV and Honey Slimdown Drink)
Dr. Oz weight loss drink is a three ingredient pre-meal drink made from grapefruit juice, apple cider vinegar and honey, popularly attributed to the Dr. Oz Show and used as a portion-control ritual before meals.
1cupgrapefruit juice100 percent juice, unsweetened, not a grapefruit cocktail blend
2tspapple cider vinegarraw, unfiltered, with the mother
1tspraw honey
Iceoptional, to serve
Cold wateroptional splash, to taste if too tart
Instructions
Pour the grapefruit juice into a glass or small mason jar.
Add the apple cider vinegar and stir well, since ACV doesn't fully dissolve into juice on its own.
Add the honey and stir again until fully mixed. Honey dissolves faster in room-temperature juice than ice-cold juice.
Taste and add a splash of cold water if the tartness or vinegar bite is too sharp.
Add ice if serving cold, or drink it as-is.
Sip it 15 to 20 minutes before a meal rather than drinking it all at once.

Notes
Top tip 1: Use a straw to reduce contact between the ACV and your tooth enamel.Top tip 2: Start with 1 teaspoon of ACV if you're new to it, then work up to 2.Top tip 3: Shake or stir your ACV bottle before measuring, since the mother settles at the bottom.Storage: best mixed fresh. The grapefruit juice and ACV can be premixed and refrigerated for a few days without the honey; stir in fresh honey right before drinking. Not recommended for freezing. This drink is not a substitute for medical advice. Grapefruit can interact with several common medications; check with a pharmacist or doctor before regular use if you take prescription medication.
