Start by boiling 4 cups of water in a large saucepan. This will be the base for your tea.
Add tea leaves or tea bags, then let it steep and boil for a few minutes, but don't over do it as it will become bitter.
Once done, take it off heat and strain the tea in a jar, if using loose tea leaves or remove tea bags.
Refrigerate the tea to let it cool for atleast 20 minutes.
Before serving, add ice cubes, squeeze fresh lemon juice. Make sure to remove any seeds.
Adjust the sweetness with honey or sweetener of choice and stir to completely dissolve.
To serve, fill glasses with more ice cubes and pour the chilled lemon iced tea over the ice.
Garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint leaves for an extra refreshing touch.
