- 2 cucumbers English or pickling cucumbers work best
- 1 cup White vinegar
- 1 cup Water
- 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon Whole Peppercorns
- Dill
Begin by thoroughly washing your cucumbers and slicing them into spears, slices, or coins, depending on your preference.
In a large jar, combine equal parts white vinegar and water. Add one teaspoon each ofkosher salt and sugar, adjusting to taste, and mix them.
Now add in cucumbers in the jars, ensuring they are completely submerged. Add peppercorns and mustard seeds. Stir well.
Seal the jar tightly and transfer it to the refrigerator.
You can enjoy them after an hour. For the best results Let the pickles marinate for at least 24 hours. They will continue to develop flavor over time.
