Take a heavy bottomed pan and heat ghee in it.
Add whole wheat flour and powdered cashew in hot ghee. Reduce the heat to slow and keep on stirring constantly till mixture is light brown in color.
Remove it from heat and keep aside.
Boil 400ml water with sugar and saffron.
Now slowly add this water to the pan/kadahi and keep it stirring.
Once the mixture becomes quite thick and leaves the sides of the pan, add cardamom powder and mix it well.
Remove from heat and serve it hot.
Optional : Garnish with chopped nuts and saffron strands
