  • 100 grams Cashew Nuts powdered
  • 50 grams whole wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoon Ghee
  • 6 tablespoon Sugar
  • Cardamom Powder (Elaichi)
  • A pinch Saffron of (Kesar)


  • Take a heavy bottomed pan and heat ghee in it.
  • Add whole wheat flour and powdered cashew in hot ghee. Reduce the heat to slow and keep on stirring constantly till mixture is light brown in color.
  • Remove it from heat and keep aside.
  • Boil 400ml water with sugar and saffron.
  • Now slowly add this water to the pan/kadahi and keep it stirring.
  • Once the mixture becomes quite thick and leaves the sides of the pan, add cardamom powder and mix it well.
  • Remove from heat and serve it hot.
  • Optional : Garnish with chopped nuts and saffron strands
