2 cups water 1 tbsp ginger A small piece 1 licorice root dried 1 tbsp fennel seeds 5 black pepper Whole 5 Mint leaves fresh 2 Holy basil leaves 1 tbsp chamomile dried 1 tsp honey
Boil Water: In a pot, add 2 cups of water, fennel seeds, licorice root, tulsi leaves, spear mint black pepper, and ginger.
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes to extract the flavors and nutrients.
Steep Tea: Add dried chamomile, cover the pot, and allow the tea to steep for 10-15 minutes off the heat.
Strain the tea using a fine mesh strainer and pour it into cups. Add little bit honey(optional) and few drops of lemon juice.
If serving to children, dilute with water as needed.
Store any extra tea in a covered mason jar in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat gently before serving, if needed.
