Ingredients

  • 4 Whole-Wheat or Phyllo Wrappers
  • 2 Potatoes boiled and peeled
  • 2 green chillies
  • 2 tablespoons coriander
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon red chili powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon mango powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil Spray

Instructions

Prepare the Filling:

  • Add a small spritz of oil in a pan over medium heat.
  • Now add mashed potatoes, a pinch of garam masala, mango powder, chili powder, coriander powder and salt. Stir until well combined.

Cool and Portion the Filling:

  • Allow the mixture to cool slightly—warm filling can make the wrappers soggy and hard to handle.

Assemble the Samosas:

  • Cut each wrapper into long strips (if using phyllo). Spoon a small amount of filling onto one end, then fold the wrapper into a triangle repeatedly until sealed. Use water or a cornstarch slurry to seal the edges. Here's how to fold samosa perfectly.

Preheat Air Fryer:

  • Set it to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Air Fry to Perfection:

  • Lightly spray or brush the samosas with oil. Arrange them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until they’re crisp and golden-brown.
