Ingredients

  • 500 ml 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dried butterfly pea flowers
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger sliced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar with mother

Instructions

Boil Water:

  • Start by boiling 500 ml of water in a saucepan. If you are adding ginger add it this time. This boiling water step is essential to fully extract the flavors and color from the Butterfly Pea Flowers.
  • Once the water reaches a rolling boil, remove the saucepan from heat.Add in 2 tablespoons of dried Butterfly Pea Flowers. Let them steep for about 10 minutes to ensure a vibrant color and infused flavor.

Strain:

  • Strain the mixture to remove the flowers if you prefer a clear drink. Or, if you like a more rustic presentation, feel free to leave the flowers in the beverage.

Add Flavorings:

  • Stir in 1 tsp honey1 teaspoon lemon juice, and 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar. Watch as the brilliant blue turns into an alluring purple shade—truly a sight to behold!

Cool and Serve:

  • Serve Hot or Iced For a comforting warm drink, pour it into your favorite mug and enjoy immediately. If you prefer an icy refreshment, allow the liquid to cool slightly. Fill a glass with ice cubes and top it off with your Brazilian Mounjaro Drink

Notes

This recipe makes 2 servings. You can add 1 teaspoon honey per cup. I personally prefer 1/2 teaspoon which works for me.
