Ingredients

  • 1 cup almonds raw
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 Dates maple syrup, or honey for added flavor

Instructions

  • Start by soaking the raw almonds in water overnight or for at least 8 hours. This helps to soften the almonds and make them easier to blend.
  • After soaking, drain and rinse the almonds thoroughly.
  • In a blender, combine the soaked almonds with 4 cups of fresh water. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  • If desired, you can add sweeteners such as honey, maple syrup, or dates to the almond milk for extra flavor. Simply blend until well combined.
  • Once blended, strain the almond milk through a nut milk bag or cheesecloth to remove any pulp or grit.
  • Transfer the strained almond milk to a clean container and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Give it a good shake before serving, as separation is natural.
