Equipment

  • Air fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 Bread slice
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tablespoon Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey

Toppings

  • 10 fresh Strawberries or raspberries
  • 10 bluberries
  • 10 g Dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  • For making this Yogurt custard toast, preheat the air fryer or oven to 180°C/350°F.
  • Prepare the custard mixture
  • Combine an egg, yogurt, and maple syrup in a small bowl.
  • Whisk to make a smooth liquid custard,
  • Press into the centre of the bread with your fingers or the back of a spoon or fork to make an indentation and form a well without cutting through it.
  • Fill the indented well with the custard mixture, then top with your toppings.
  • Toast for 4-5 minutes in an air fryer.
  • If you are using an oven bake and toast for 7-8 minutes till bottom crisps.
  • Your yogurt toast is now ready to enjoy.

Notes

  • Vanilla essence, cinnamon, or nutmeg are optional additions to the custard.
  • Powdered sugar may be used as a garnish to dress up your Custard Toast!
