Paratha are our everyday essential and a crowd pleaser Indian breakfast.  Parathas are one of the most popular unleavened flatbread in India. Baked on tava, or tandoori paratha,  stuffed paratha or Plain paratha, we love all Paratha recipes.  They are delicious, filling and soul satisfying breakfast Indians love to start their day with.

    Paratha Recipes

Parathas are both loved and stuffed in our country. I am particularly in love with stuffed paratha and eat them for all meals. Gobi paratha, paneer paratha, dal paratha , Punjabi Methi paratha or simply plain paratha with Raita  this Indian flatbread is simply irresistible. Now before we start to talk about calories in Paratha, let me tell you Paratha can be your healthy meal. I have already written here How you can make Paratha Healthy. We agree that it needs shallow frying. But, one can always keep it healthy by using less oil in the process!

It is really important to manage your meal and a healthy breakfast is a must to be energetic throughout the day. My family loves stuffed paneer parathas or aloo paratha with green chutney for their lunch. So, I usually end up making them for any one meal so many many weekdays . The flour used in making paratha makes a lot of difference, therefore, I choose multigrain flour (multigrain atta) or whole wheat flour while making parathas.

We usually ponder a lot on what to have in the morning or what to pack in lunch for the kids. I would share my secret with you. So, I usually make the dough for 2-3 days and keep the stuffing ready during weekly meal prep. This way you can easily make the delicious stuffed parathas in the morning or any other meal you prefer. If I am making you crave parathas now then look at our favourite of best-stuffed paratha recipes, make them and dig in.

    Gobi Paratha Recipe

    Gobi ka paratha

Even if you are not a fan of Gobi( Cauliflower), you will fall in love with this one. Crispy, flaky and stuffed nicely I can assure you that gobi ka paratha is the best paratha one can have.  We love them with a bowl of fresh dahi or yogurt. I most of the times have cauliflower grated in the fridge to make cauliflower rice  which can be used as stuffing too.

    Paneer Paratha Recipe

Trust me, there is nothing delicious than crispy, masala paneer paratha with boondi raita. The secret of good paneer paratha lies in making a perfect dough and the quality of paneer. The paratha should have the softest paneer, from soft here I mean that it should be creamy not less watery. I tend to make the paneer at my home, the recipe for softest paneer is something I learned from my mother. Here is the delicious paneer paratha recipe.

    Chane Ka Saag Ka Paratha

    Saag ka paratha

Chane ke saag ka paratha is a recipe that is passed on to me by my mother and grand mother. I make it during winters when chana saag is in season for very short time. One can always experiment and add some leftover curry or dal to the dough instead of water to give a nutty taste to the Chane Ke Saag ka paratha.

    Methi Paratha Recipe

Methi paratha recipe: stuffed methi paratha a crispy paratha stuffed with flavourful fresh leaves of methi. You can serve it for breakfast with curd or with dal or sabzi for a delicious winter meal.

I make methi paratha recipe in two different ways. Sometimes I add methi in the dough, and sometimes I love to stuff the methi and make the stuffed paratha. I also love to add some paneer in the mix and make my delicious Methi parathas.

    Dal Ka Paratha Recipe

Leftover Dal Paratha , Flatbread made with wholewheat and leftover dal

On times when you feel low or just miss the comfort of your home, this Dal Paratha will be your aid. Homely and comforting to the core, the paratha is fulfilling, gratifying and very soothingly filled with spices and flavors. These parathas are a one-way ticket to warm the heart and fill the tummy at once.  The Recipe for making the mouthwatering Dal Ka Paratha is here.

    Laccha Paratha Recipe

    Laccha Paratha

Nothing tastes better than a layered or  laccha paratha with delicious warm bowl of paneer curry. In case you love it too you can try my Pudina Laccha with any of these delicious Paneer recipes.

Growing up in a Punjabi family I have always been surrounded by the inviting aroma of parathas. So, naturally, I took it upon myself to share the best recipes with you all. I always love to share my favorite recipes in a simple way. Today, sharing the traditional Punjabi way of making stuffed parathas with you, makes me extremely happy. The best part is the comforting homely feeling you get with every bite of parathas. Do make it at home and enjoy the goodness.
