- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the cranberries, water, and sugar. Stir until the sugar has dissolved and bring the mixture to a simmer.
- Then simmer for 5-10 minutes or until cranberries start to burst .
- Add the orange juice and cinnamon, stir to combine, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5-10 minutes or until most of the liquid has evaporated and the sauce is thickened.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving (it will thicken as it cools). Serve at room temperature or reheat in a small pan prior to serving if desired.
