Cream and delicious Cold coffee recipe. You can make cafe like cold coffee with Ice cream easily at home with this recipe. Here's how to make cold coffee at home.

How to make thick cold coffee with Icecream

Summer is time to enjoy a tall glass of cool drinks. Cold coffee is a classic cold drink in summer that everyone loves. Almost everyone knows how to prepare cold coffee or iced coffee. But still, every time you see a cafe frappe in your favorite cafe, you crave a fancy glass just like that. For making this recipe I have used cold brew concentrate. You can use instant coffee powder or even coffee decoction using filter coffee pot. These days I make it with Cold brew coffee, which is so much better than regular coffee.

I love simple homestyle cold coffee with milk. That was what our generation grew up drinking in summers. I remember the summer evenings when after returning from college Mom used to give us a refreshing glass of chilled and creamy coffee, which not only energized but helped us to cool down as well. When there was a special occasion she would make milkshake like thick cold coffee with ice cream. Unlike so many brands available these days she would make our cold coffee with Nescafe, only coffee powder brand available at that time.

There were no AC’s in regular homes back then, but the temperature also would not reach this high. Mom would keep the beaten coffee in the mug ready and just when we reached home she would churn out a delicious glass of cold coffee just with three ingredients. No fancy stuff like we get as toppings, flavours these days, but Oh God! That was some delicious stuff.

In this recipe of iced coffee or cafe frappe as it is known these days, I flavoured the coffee with some extra dark chocolate sauce. After I posted my cafe style cold coffee with milk recipe on Instagram, few of you asked the recipe for it. So here it is!

How to Make Cold Coffee with Ice cream

The creamy texture of the coffee milkshake comes from blending full-fat milk with vanilla ice cream. To make it frothy, I whisked it nice and slow using an electric balloon whisk.

For making this cold coffee with Ice cream, I first added Cold brew coffee concentrate in a blender jar. Then I added full fat milk, and also sugar. If you do not like it overly sweet you can skip the sugar and finally add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream . Blend everything well.

To serve garnish a tall glass with chocolate syrup swirls as shown in the video above and add ice cube or two as per your preference. Pour whipped coffee in the glass and enjoy it chilled.

How to Make Cold coffee with Nescafe or Instant Coffee

This has been most common and easy cold coffee recipe. You can make it super quick with coffee powder.

For making cold coffee with Nescafe or any other instant coffee , simply add coffee powder, milk, scoop of ice cream (optional) sugar as per your preference, 2-3 ice cubes and blend until frothy. Serve immediately.

One of the many reasons for which I love coffee is because I can experiment with different flavours of coffee. Be it a steaming pot of freshly brewed coffee or a glass of iced coffee, coffee brings people together.
