  • For prep, I had soaked the almonds overnight. The next morning, I drained the water and peeled off the skins for a smoother blend.

If you are short on time, instead of soaking almonds take almonds and water in a bowl and heat in the microwave for 30 seconds or a minute. Rinse under cold water, peel and use them.

  • Toss the almonds along with a pitted date, coffee powder either espresso or decaf? its your choice, I personally use decaf, cinnamon powder and 1/2 cup water.
