Corn Aloo Tikki in Microwave – Corn Potato Cutlets
Corn Aloo Tikki is perfect as an evening snack, a tea-time snack, appetizer, or as a kids’ lunchbox snack. Packed with flavor, this Indian snack is almost fat-free alternative to traditional deep-fried options. You can easily make this Indian teatime snack of Corn Aloo Tikki in microwave.

I made this Corn Aloo tikkis in the microwave using diet fry function. So you can enjoy a guilt-free snack without compromising on taste.
You can make the tikkis by deep frying or shallow fry or in the microwave. If you have read my previous posts, you know I am cooking microwave recipes using LG microwave. You can turn these Potato and corn tikkis into a delicious guilt-free chaat by replacing the Aloo Tikki with Aloo corn Tikki. Whether it’s party or get-together at home or We are simply craving for something crispy tasty and guilt-free teatime snack, this corn and potato tikkis are super quick to make and tasty to eat.
The diet fry function of LG microwave is so good that we can indulge in our favorite food without any worry. The microwave is one of most common gadget in our homes now. And many of homemakers use it not to just reheat the food, but to make excellent dishes using a microwave. You can make interesting Indian recipes in the microwave like Sooji ka halwa, Gajar ka halwa, Bharwan tamatar, Kurkuri bhindi in microwave etc.
You do not require too many fancy ingredients for Corn and aloo tikkies. Just mix boiled and mashed potatoes with corn and binding of your choice along with few flavourful herbs and spices. Shape them into tikkies and cook them using diet fry function in the microwave. You have got delicious crispy aloo and corn tikki ready in minutes.
I used aloo corn Tikki auto cook menu while using this model of LG microwave. If you do not want to use auto cook menu, You can cook it using other models of microwaves too. You need to use combi cooking microwave method in the microwave. In combi cook mode you preheat the oven and then cook these Tikki on microwave-safe tawa using convection mode.

How to make Corn Aloo Tikki in Microwave
Stash the oil bottle away and cook up these delicious, fun and super quick healthier and oil-free recipes in the microwave. Enjoy the crispy corn and potato tikki with green chutney and a steaming cup of tea.

- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl properly and make small tikkis out of the mixture. Set aside your tikkis.
- Spray oil on the tikkis as well as on multi-cook tawa ( one of the microwave accessory ).
- Select the diet fry feature from the auto cook menu. Preheat the oven.
- Place the multi-cook tawa in the oven along with the tikkis on it.

- Now, select the quantity by pressing the dial. Press start. The cutlets will get ready in about 6-7 minutes.
- When finished, serve the corn potato cutlets hot with tomato ketchup or however you love them.

Substitutions:
- Potatoes: If you prefer a healthier alternative, sweet potatoes can be used instead, adding a subtle sweetness to the cutlets.
