Tried ‘Turmeric Tummy Tea’ this morning – I’m always looking for improving my morning routine. The morning routine is done on an empty tummy.
Followed the recipe:
– added a pinch of Himalayan Pink Salt
– we were out of Fennel Seed / Anise, and Mint
– Note: I didn’t measure out the honey, I think I was close to a quarter tsp.
Wow, I was surprised how good this tasted. I was all prepared to ‘muscle down’ a very earthy drink, yet this was easy to drink. Immediately after drinking it, I thought, “I can do this every morning, that was good.”
Within 3 minutes, my tummy felt warm which lasted for about 15 minutes. I can’t wait to see what impact this has as part of my morning regime
Thanks for such a detailed feedback Brad! I hope this morning ritual turns out to be as good for you as it has been for me!
Excellent!!!! I went with your suggestion & put a pinch of cardamon & 1/4tsp. Coconut oil. Added my lactose free milk. No lemon, mint or sweetners. Sooo YUMMY!!! Love your addition of fennel seed.
