    Bakrid or Eid-ul-Adha is also known as the festival of sacrifice or the festival of the feast. As usual, I have compiled our special collection of festive recipes for Eid that you can try this Bakar Eid.Β Β Eid-ul-Adha or Bakrid is around the corner, the streets, stores, and homes are embellished with decoration and excitement. There is actually a historical Islamic concept of cooking and serving dishes with love.

    To overwhelm everyone with happiness and joy, especially for children, a variety of cuisines are made on this day. I feel so happy to share my favorite recipes with you. Follow these recipes and treat your family with delicious cuisines this Eid.

    Luscious Dessert Recipes for Eid

    Sheer Khurma

    Sheer Khurma Recipe

    Sheer Khurma or Sheer Korma is a traditional eid food and a dessert from Hyderabad. This delicacy is made by roasting Semiya (thick vermicelli) in ghee. It is then indulged in thick milk and cooked slowly. I love how rich it is in flavor and the dry fruits work like wonder in this lush sweet. You can serve it hot or cold this Eid-Ul-Adha.     Shahi Tukda

    Double ka meetha, easy rich and a delicious sweet dish from Hyderabadi cuisine. A delicious Indian bread pudding in which fried bread is soaked in thick saffron flavoured milk.

    One of the most popular Eid Recipes, Shahi Tukda taste like heaven. It has also been inspired from the Hyderabadi Cuisines. Shahi Tukda is made by frying the soft and delicious bread pudding with thick saffron-flavored milk.     Rose falooda a cooling summer dessert which is rich and delicious. It’s made with milk rose syrup chia seeds and falooda vermicelli and topped with a variety of toppings

    Who doesn’t love Biryani? It is a perfect cuisine for Eid and I usually make it at my home to mark a celebration. I have always been a fan of Biryani, its flavors and texture are just mouth-watering. The chicken is so enticing with its juiciness and tender flesh.     Persian Chicken Stew

    Persian chicken or fasenjan is classic Persian dish. Served with saffron rice or steamed basmati rice this is a perfect combination for Dinner or an indulgent Lunch.

    Corn pakoda or bhutte ke pakode

    Corn Pakoda is a delicious teatime snack or Indian starter dish. Corn Pakora is an easy recipe in which deep-fried crisp corn fritters are made with chickpeas flour, sweet corn and regular Indian spices. As rainy season is about to arrive and we are already having few showers here and there. In India, we are conditioned to celebrate rains with some hot pakoras with a steaming cup of masala chai when it is pouring

    It is almost the harvest season and some areas would have already enjoyed the first batch of bhutta. Try a plate full of these crispy corn fritters with your family with green mint chutney and some chat masala. Have it with tea for a light snack in between Eid Party. ( Corn Pakora Recipe)

    Dahi Vada or Dahi bhalla

    This traditional starter or Urad dal ke vadeΒ is dunked in cold creamy curd sprinkled with some chatpate spices. It is flavourful, wholesome, and easy on the stomach because of the curd. I have made pistachio filled dahi vada to add a nutty surprise with each bite. Read the recipe here.

    Achari Murg Tikka

    Boneless Chicken chunks marinated in yogurt and mouthwatering pickle spices, grilled and served hot with apple chutney.Β Achari Murg Tikka as the name suggests is a spicy starter.
