Variations of Omelette Sandwich

  1. You can use a veggie omelette, Fritatta (if you like more eggs) or a Spicy Indian cheese omelette with lots of cheese, green chilli and chopped onion.
  2. You can add cucumbers and tomatoes along with Omelette as filling and green chutney or ketchup will spice it up a little notch.
  3. You can use your choice of bread. Whole wheat bread, sourdough buns, regular bun or English muffin for a bun omelette Muska or brioche for a more gourmet type of sandwich.
  4. You can add greens like lettuce, rocket leaves, and baby spinach along with a Cheddar cheese slice and a thick Indian style spicy omelette.
  5. I skip green chutney or ketchup as I feel that makes it soggy. I prefer to serve ketchup or chutney as an accompaniment for the sandwiches.
