Indian Meal Plan with easy recipes for breakfast lunch and dinner for a week. After posting 9 dinner plans finally, I am posting a menu plan for the whole day that includes breakfast, lunch as well as dinner.

Planning a weekly meal plan is key to eating healthy and tasty food throughout the week. If you are a busy professional or a homemaker juggling with so many things planned this Indian weekly menu plan is the best way to provide a balance of nutrition and taste on our meal plates.

So, in this week’s meal plan you will have one healthy recipe every day. Since all these recipes can be put together in less than 30 minutes, you can easily plan them ahead and you will be sorted for a week.

Why I Plan My Menu In Advance

My main motive behind starting the Weekly Meal Plan was to save time. As the majority of my time was spent worrying about what to cook on a daily basis.

Now, with Meal Plans, I can stay away from the everyday hassle of buying groceries, save my time, money and rarely order a takeout.

With meal prep, We rarely skip meals and therefore stay healthy. If you are new then Meal Prep Guide For Beginners will help you plan your meals accordingly.

Coming back to this edition of Indian Meal Plan, you would find some really delicious, wholesome and nutritious recipes on your table every day. If you have a sweet tooth or are more on the spicy side, then don’t worry I have not skipped any of that in this Week’s Meal Plan. If you want to keep it healthy just skip the dessert and eat fruits instead 🙂

All you have to do is read the meal prep, select from the menu ideas, buy the ingredients from the grocery list and enjoy a hassle-free week. All these recipes are cooked with fewer ingredients and easy to cook.  Most of them take 30 minutes or less to cook. It is a perfect meal plan for busy people.

I would also like to take a moment and thank all of you for sending feedback on The Indian Meal Plan series. It is because of you all that I continue sharing these tips and plans. 🙂

Here is another set of Meal Plans if you want to look for simple Indian cuisines. There is also a 20 Minutes meals section on the website, so even if you are not really prepared for the whole week’s commitment you can cook a decent Indian meal in under 20 Minutes.

    Monday Menu

Get past your Monday blues and start your day with healthy South Indian Pesarattu Dosa. Keep the lunch light with Dhaba style mix veg and the dinner delicious with Sindhi khadi, steamed rice, and Vegan Chia Seeds Pudding.

    Tuesd Menu

Nothing starts a day better than a plate full of grilled egg in the hole sandwich with a glass of orange juice. Keep it low and make achari karela sabzi and have it with paratha. End the day with a healthy bowl of vermicelli and chilled cold coffee with an extra scoop of chocolate ice cream. 😉

    Wednesday Menu

Start your day with an easy yet delicious Eggless Omelette. Munch-on besan laddoo while you prepare for Chettinad egg curry and basmati rice for dinner. Do not forget to make Kaju halwa to serve along with the curry.

    Thursday Menu

Let’s start the day desi style with Matar paratha and a bowl of fresh curd. After the mouthwatering breakfast, go ahead and make Gujrati style Khatti dal, and some rice for lunch. Keeping the dinner light let’s make palak mushroom and paneer makhana kheer for sweet.

    Friday Menu

It's weekend and we are all set to start it with Spanish omelette for breakfast. Keep the lunch cheesy with Peri-peri quesadilla and the dinner luscious with balti paneer, roti, and some hot chocolate.

    Saturday Menu

Let’s start the weekend on a healthy note, shall we? For Saturday, let’s make the healthy coriander soup followed by Moong Dal Chilla for lunch. Since we have some eggs left in the fridge let’s make Masala omelette curry and serve it with paratha and the satisfying Laddu and kheer nutty fruity cups.

    Sunday Menu

Keeping the health note in mind, let’s make Spinach Cheese Omelette for a happy Sunday Breakfast and some Methi Na Gota for lunch.

It’s Sunday, go ahead and invite your friends for dinner and serve them spicy tawa mushroom and some chocolate walnut fudge.
